Cara-Jayne Simms – Senior PA to Commissioner and Chief Executive

Cara-Jayne joined NICCY in November 2017 and holds an Executive Secretary Diploma from London Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  She previously worked for over 10 years in NI Fire & Rescue Service, as well as the NI Electoral Office and various private organisations.

Cara-Jayne is PA to both the Commissioner and Chief Executive at NICCY, as well as the Admin Coordinator.  Her job includes supporting the Commissioner and Chief Executive to discharge their roles and responsibilities in line with NICCY’s Annual Business Plan, and she is involved in a wide range of work across the organisation.

She is a key member of staff when it comes to organising and coordinating NICCY events such as conferences and report launches, both in person and online.  She is a busy working mum and in her free time enjoys the outdoors – as well being a member of her local golf club, where she plays as often as she can.
